		<description>Conference tomorrow and I&#039;m the mistress of ceremonies! 
The audience is actually my event management course peers (all 80+) of them and the handful of guest speakers I have invited to present. Knowing my audience helps a lot.
Another thing is that my area of expertise is sort of relevant. As a developing event manager I got into this area because I just love playing the hostess. It&#039;s a great feeling to know that what is going on is entertaining people so much - and that I ran the day! Playing MC is to a degree the same thing but on a more... public side to it I think. Standing in front of an audience and all. In the end I know I&#039;ll feel great about how I&#039;ve done, providing nothing major goes wrong!
Really, this article is quite helpful. I&#039;ll take a note of these points while I&#039;m writing up my prompters tonight :) Feeling much better about it already!</description>
